Your hosts at The Chesterfield are brother and sister duo Stephen and Julie Clarke.  They have been owners and managers of the hotel since 1990 and have a wealth of experience in the hotel and  catering industry.

Julie worked originally as a hotel receptionist and Steve trained as a hotel chef. They have teamed this experience with their desire to work with both people and animals, particularly dogs, which they both adore.  A dog has always played a big part in their family life, and they fully understand the growing  need for genuinely dog-friendly accommodation.  At the Chesterfield they have created a uniquely dog-friendly place to stay in the heart of Blackpool.  Their aim is to give dog owners an opportunity to enjoy and explore all of the amazing attractions that Blackpool has to offer, yet not have to leave their beloved four-legged companions at home with family or in boarding kennels.

The Chesterfield is a small, hotel with a relaxed, home-from-home atmosphere. Both Julie and Steve aim to provide a genuine warm welcome,  a hearty, traditional home-cooked  breakfast along with friendly and informal, yet efficient, service.
